Is Next Yearís Team Better or Worse than this Yearís?

Whatever metric, ranking, win loss total, eye test suits you ...

I donít have confidence that next yearís team is better and thatís the primary reason I voted no to Dave coaching next year.

There is some semblance of progress, weíve been at the bottom of the barrel for so long itís easy to forget how bad we were night in night out the last 11 years; but if this progress is not sustainable, tough to justify keeping the coach.

If we break .500 next year with another solid class for 2020, perhaps the tune starts to change.

It is a loaded question, because you can say eye test they are better, but record is worse.

I guess I should clarify with whatever metric YOU THE VOTER subscribe to primarily/individually.

Some on here are kenpom some are BE standings, most are some combination of everything.

Whatever suits you, do you believe next yearís team is better than what we just saw?

I'm going to go with intangibles.
Our newbs are a diff breed.  Two do have experience, so they are not Freshman.
One is a top 50 that has played at the highest level.
The other 2 guards can be blended in.

so I don't see the normal excuses of they have to play together to get used to each other.

Our losses  of Strus, Olujobi and Cain will be hard to replace, losing most of our scoring and rebounding.
But, I think it's possible.  I thought the same this year, losing Maric and McCallum, but we did.

We are fortunate to have Butz and Reed returning as our leaders.  I really can't really on Gage.
