Title: Biggest thing that disappoints me
Post by: mrap24 on February 10, 2016, 08:59:39 PM
we havent gotten any better in any facet of the game.  there is this myth we are better defensively, but statistically, we are worse.  as a team/program we are worse off this year than we were a year ago today, which i didnt know was possible

and the rebuilding hasnt even started yet.  thats 2 years away

i am close with JLP (people on here know that) and i think the hiring of DL is the death blow to the program.  I have told her that several times this season.  We missed out on a hot young couch that would have brought excitement b/c she insisted the new coach keep BGSR.  love her as a person but huge mistake after huge mistake.  The DL hire was a terrible thing at the time and that thought looks to be validated every game we play.  no program or on court improvement at all this season

Mrap,

The program can be turned around, it's never too late.  But it does require a change in leadership first. Until then, we will continue to be CBB version of the 2003 Blackhawks.

We missed out on a hot young couch
Not only did we get a repeat coach, we did not replace the couch???? What is Depaul doing?! :D

I agree with so much of what you say Mrap. I have no clue who you are, so no clue you were close to JLP.

long time season ticket holder.  she stood next to my seat for years, before she moved to sitting at the scorers table.  developed a great relationship with her.

on another note, ho many AD's sit at the scorers table?

She gets a birds-eye view of the absolute train wreck of a program she has overseen over the past 12 years or so.

It is so wrong for her to sit there, but I expect nothing less from someone so tonedeaf as she is.
