Eligibility Issues in The Big East
It comes down to Six Schools that are doing things within the Rules and regulations and, Six other schools using Low Life tactics to bring in Professionals to play college basketball. Yes, The Big East is strictly a basketball conference , but to not oblige within the eligiblity rules like the other Power 4 conferences is going to be a disaster. After graduating DePaul University NJ Benson signed a contract to play professionally in Greece , 3 weeks later he takes $3 Million Dollars to play for Georgetown this season. There is no way in hell he should be eligible to play this season. If the rules on Eligibility get implicated Teams like Providence, St. John's, and Georgetown will definitely take a step down.
