New seasons is around the corner, dates of stuff leading up to the first game:

Blue Madness - Fri. Oct. 18th
BE Media Day - Wed. Oct. 23rd
Exhibition Game - Sun. Oct. 27th
1st Game - Mon. Nov. 4th

If anyone sees any preseason articles or write-ups drop the links in here. Assume most will figure that DePaul will improve but exactly how well will all the new players play together is anyone's guess.

This season will be interesting

Knowing that Holtmann will have to hit the transfer portal again next season, this is really step #1 in getting the program back to respectability. Almost all the transfers in were from mid-majors. If he shows he can make progress with a complete roster overhaul in just one off-season, then that will likely get the attention of more talented players in the transfer portal next off-season. If there is next to no progress, than I would expect DePaul will go back to the ways of having a very difficult time of attracting star players.
