There is no "what if", its a lock. Deal with it. Don't be afraid of success. Don't sweat about it. Don't worry about it. Don't hang on the wind with every twist and turn. Dont read the tea leaves. Don't give it a second thought. Don't care what "experts" and "scouts" say. Don't even listen to our own pessimists at the DePaulia. My only piece of advice is find whatever mental gymnastic you need to perform and reconcile all your doubts and feelings to a possibility that can be reality.
Just, accept it.
Jabari Parker to DePaul.
Say it to yourself and after awhile it won't sound so crazy, you'll just start to believe it and find that ray of hope that peeks around that dark cloud. Why? Because it IS crazy a thought. Its bat shittake crazy. Its easy... a cop out, as a fan to be a pessimist and be negative. When you take a negative approach, you devoid yourself of all emotional detachment and you'll deny yourself true enjoyment when the possibility becomes reality. So stop denying yourself, just allow yourself to believe a little. If there ever was a situation in which a DEPAUL fan can have REAL hope, this is it!
Life is too short, so go ahead, allow yourself to have a little fun!
I'm done now.
