I was in the 10-13 bucket before, and that might be difficult now.

I am not sure how anyone can say that at least on paper the talent level has not improved drasitically compared to OP. With Tyger,
Coleman and Diener it will continue to improve as well next year.

I say between 10 and 13 wins. Not where I want to be but I will give DL four years considering what he took over. I think that is fair, although I think he is one year behind schedule record wise but ahead of schedule recruiting wise (counting transfers).

I also see the schedule being pretty tough and tougher than most. ND, Illinois, Northwestern, and MSU OOC is very tough and the Big East has proven to be a solid conference.

Diener is a sub 200 recruit, which has been the standard for DePaul over the past 10 years. Coleman is a top 50 transfer who was alright at his first school... like Myke Henry. So it comes down to Tyger. 4 years and you have moved recruiting up with 1 player?

Well, the way I see it:

1) Henry was one of our best players in the last decade so if Coleman-Lands plays to his level which he is expected to do considering he was higher ranked out of high school and was more successful at the same university before his transfer in his time at that school I would say that is better than the average recruit/transfer during the OP and JW era.

2) Diener - Yep, not a top 200 recruit, but he has already done more in high school then our average recruit. I fully expect him to be a solid player. We shall see.

3) Tyger - He alone makes his class better than at least 7 of the last 10 or 11 classes.

I will stick to what I said which was "on paper" recruiting/transfers have improved noticeably over the previous two coaching staffs.

and, with another year, Hanel will improve as well.  And, if he sees the floor, you may as well kick Cook, Butz and Reed out the door.  So much for recruiting bigs.

but, they looked better on paper.
